The American Cancer Society recommends clinical breast exams (CBEs) approximately once every three years for women in their 20s and 30s, and annually for women aged 40 and over. Women should start performing breast self-exams (BSEs) in their 20s to ensure early detection of problems or changes in the breast tissue.
Women should report any changes to their physicians at a urgent care center in Eagle River, like Primary Care Associates, and other communities in the Municipality of Anchorage.
